Orthopedists George Zambetti, M.D., O.Alton Barron, M.D., and Louis Catalano, M.D., formed Scarsdale Bone and Joint Specialists, PLLC, to bring cutting edge orthopedic techniques and treatments to Westchester County. Together with Arthur Williams, M.D., a neurologic surgeon who specializes in treating spine disorders, our goal is to provide individualized orthopedic care that returns each patient to health and well-being by focusing on the patient's unique musculoskeletal needs.
Each orthopedist is well-recognized as a leader in the field. George J. Zambetti, Jr., M.D. is a specialist in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, with extensive experience in knee and shoulder surgeries. Dr. Zambetti is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Assistant Attending Physician at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. He is also affiliated with St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center.
O. Alton Barron, M.D., is a shoulder, elbow, and hand specialist who takes a multifaceted approach to re-establishing the strength, function, and fluidity of the upper limb. Dr. Barron is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, a Senior Attending Physician in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, and an Attending Hand Surgeon at the CV Starr Hand Surgery Center at Roosevelt Hospital.
Louis W. Catalano, III, M.D., an orthopedic surgeon with expertise in hand, shoulder, elbow, and wrist surgery, addresses upper extremity problems with a combination of therapies. Dr. Catalano is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Attending Surgeon in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital, and Attending Hand Surgeon at the CV Starr Hand Surgery Center at Roosevelt Hospital.
Arthur Williams, M.D., has worked extensively as a neurologic surgeon in New York City. He specializes in combining surgical and minimally invasive interventions, that enables sufferers of severe back pain to regain mobility and return to normal activities. Dr. Williams is an Attending Neurosurgeon at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital and the Beth Israel Medical Center, Petrie Division.
